Looking for a tasty serving of food in Santa Barbara that won’t shatter your budget? You’ve arrive to the right place. I’ve stayed in the town for more that 30 years, and throughout that time I believe I’ve traveled to nearly every bistro round not less than once. Below, I’ve recorded some of my favorites from all those years of good eating.

Let’s aim on locations to get large Mexican nourishment, since Santa Barbara has an astonishing riches of good locations to get nourishment from south of the border. I nearly seem there are too numerous good Mexican locations to register, but here are some I like the best.

* La Superica - 600 N. Milpas St. For what is fundamentally just a taco shop with bargain artificial benches and seating, Superica has accomplished an unbelievable renown that extends up and down the California seaboard area and beyond. It can be hard to find because the signal is little and tough to glimpse, but gaze for the little white shack with teal trim. There’s generally a line out-of-doors that extends down the impede, but don’t be threatened, the delay isn’t too bad. Don’t overlook the tacos made with homemade tortillas.
* Rose’s Cafe - Two locations: On Cota St. and on Cliff Drive on the Mesa. Great nourishment assisted with their own well renowned beans and rice. Everything here is good, from the morning serving of food burritos and huevos rancheros, to the tacos, burritos and enchiladas. I believe my very well liked are the enchiladas with red sauce.
* Los Arroyos - Two locations: downtown on State St. and in Monetcito on Coast Village Rd. Los Arroyos is a more upscale Mexican location than Superica or Rose’s, but don’t concern, the nourishment is still good. Had to state what to suggest here, since it’ all so good, but I’ll proceed with the carnitas tacos assisted on homemade maize tortillas.
* Carlitos - Across from the Arlington Theatre on State St. Mmmm, Carlitos. A bit pricey, but decisively worth it. Check out the every day bargains, since there’s habitually certain thing good there. I love the fish tacos here, and generally follow it down with one of their large Margaritas. A large location to proceed before catching a video or live presentation at the Arlington.
* Playa Azul - 914 Santa Barbara St. Just a couple of blocks up the road from the El Presido State Historic Park in the heart of the city’s enterprise district. The outdoor patio is a large location to while away the midday serving of food hour. Be certain to ascertain out the gigantic and ultra-tasty burritos, a dwelling specialty.
